Florida’s real estate investment property tax protection is on the chopping block. Amendment 2 would permanently place a 10% cap on the annual increase of non-homestead property tax assessments. Amendment 2 doesn’t change the current law, but it puts protections in place so extreme increases won’t impact renters, business owners and consumers.
Advanta IRA is excited to welcome Attorney French Brown of Dean, Mead and Dunbar to discuss how Amendment 2 impacts IRA owned investment properties. Plus Alex Perny of Advanta IRA will review how this affects IRAs for property tax caps for non-homestead properties.
Get the facts before election day and find out what the potential tax implications are for your investment properties and your IRA.
