Rentals, Rehabs, and Notes in Your Self-Directed IRA
The most popular type of investment held in self-directed IRAs is real estate. Investing in real estate though is such a broad phrase and includes anything from rehabbing and flipping a house to long or short term rentals and also being a private mortgage lender. During this lunch seminar, we will discuss how you can use your IRA or old 401(k) funds to invest in all of these types of real estate investments.
There are a few rules that you need to know regarding establishing a self-directed IRA and then using the funds to make the various real estate investments. We will discuss how to set-up and move funds to a self-directed IRA and then spend time discussing the rules the IRS has for buying real estate using an IRA. Real life case studies will be used to also demonstrate how the investment process works and how other individuals have taken advantage of investment real estate opportunities by using their IRAs.
Lunch will be provided for all attendees who pre-register.
