Did you know that you can hold real estate, mortgage notes, loans and other assets in a self-directed IRA? Mike Ventry, of Advanta IRA, will be discussing this topic and much more at the Cobb County subgroup of the Georgia REIA.
In addition to owning actual real estate, you can make loans to one another as real estate investors and make higher returns than possible in the current stock market environment. Self-directed IRAs even offer you the option of checkbook control of your own IRA. None of the brokerage houses like Fidelity or Vanguard will allow an individual that level of control, nor the ability to generate higher returns.
This presentation is part of the Georgia REIA’s monthly meeting in Cobb County at Delkwood Grill. The meeting begins at 7:00pm for networking and the presentation will be from 7:45 – 8:30. There is no cost to attend, although attendees are encouraged to order food and drink.
